Black Bean Chili - made EASY

This recipe is easy and will warm you on a cold fall evening!

Ingredients:

  • 15 oz can of black beans (drained and rinsed)

  • 15 oz can of tomato sauce

  • 10 oz can of diced tomatoes (use oven roasted
    r diced w/chiles)

  • 4 oz can of diced green chilies (hot or mild)

  • dash of cumin

  • dash of chili powder

  • 1/2 onion, diced

Directions:

 

1. Place all ingredients in a stovetop pan, stir and simmer.

*Serve on a layer of Fritos. Top with a handful of shredded cheese (*Daiya or Violife for diary free) and some sour cream (*Tofutti, Good Karma, Follow Your Heart or Forager for dairy free).
